Linda Wheeler

 

Linda Wheeler, a public speaker and author, is the founder of Pheonix Rising 2000. Linda captures the imagination of an audience with a commanding presence as well as a wonderfully warm wit and humor, motivating her audience with the passion and courage of a woman engaged in realizing her fullest potential.

Her credentials are impeccable. Linda has sixteen years of state government and private sector experience in Washington State, Washington D.C. and New York.

She is a graduate of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University with a Masters Degree in Public Administration. She received her undergraduate degree (BA) with emphasis in business from the Evergreen State College. Linda went on to complete several leadership programs where she earned certificates from the University of Washington, Duke University and again, the renowned Kennedy School of Government.

After leaving Harvard, Linda wrote the foremost ground-breaking book, The Executive Alley the first of a trilogy dedicated to women pursuing careers in leadership roles. Her book focuses of the art of leadership and offers strategies on how women can compete with one another successfully with both integrity and excellence.

Her growing reputation as a public speaker has placed her in the arena with other well known speakers including Cornel West, Les Brown and Rafael Colon.

Linda has developed a powerful delivery and utilizes newly emerging insights to teach, inspire, and guide people to a new level of consciousness through positive competition and the art of leadership.

Linda lives in Olympia, Washington with her husband, James, and their daughter, Jamie.
