Spring quarter

Major areas of study include Greek and Latin language, drama, poetry, historiography, philosophy, and material culture; modern philosophy from Descartes to Kant
Class Standing: Sophomores or above; transfer students welcome.
In Individual Studies in Classical Literature, Art, and Philosophy, students pursue advanced research and interpretive work in classic European texts and monuments, especially those of Greco-Roman antiquity. Interested students should develop a draft proposal and syllabus, then arrange to meet with Andrew Reece in the first week of Spring Quarter
Both individual and group contracts will be considered.
Credits: 2, 4, 6 or 8 per quarter
