Description

In this course, students will learn finger-spelling, cardinal numbers, vocabulary, conversation sign, and ASL grammar.  Introduction to deaf culture includes a reader and invitations to participate in Deaf Coffee and to attend the Deaf Club.  Students from this section may continue in ASL II and ASL III in the 5:30-7:30 p.m. class in winter and spring quarters.
