Japanese - Second Year I, II, III

This year-long sequence covers the second year of Japanese language studies.  Students must be familiar with basic verb forms and elementary kanji letters.  Students will build on previous skills and learn new grammar and vocabulary so they can function in a variety of situations.  Classroom activities include presentations, watching film and TV clips, and discussion. Students will continue their kanji studies at their own levels in small groups.  Japanese culture and life will be discussed throughout the course.  The class is conducted primarily in Japanese. Student who have completed two years of Japanese may join this class and study at the third year level.
