General Chemistry III with Lab- at SPSCC

This is the third quarter of a general chemistry sequence for designed for students interested in engineering, biological science, physical science, pre-med, pre-dental, and math fields.  Topics covered include acids and bases, solubility and complex ion equilibria, thermodynamics - entropy, reduction-oxidation reactions and electrochemistry and nuclear reactions and issues. This course stresses problem solving and critical thinking. We will meet for 4 hours lecture and 3 hours lab per week.

 

NOTE: This class meets at South Puget Sound Community College, 2011 Mottman Road, SW, Olympia, WA 98512, in Building 35, Room 251, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 9:20 p.m. SPSCC Spring quarter is April 4 through June 14 PLUS assigned finals week meeting time during the week of June 15-21.  THIS IS ONE WEEK BEHIND THE EVERGREEN SCHEDULE.
