"My work emphasizes color, shape, and movement, and how fragmentation and rearrangement modifies their interaction. I layer colors and divide areas with striations creating simulated aerial landscapes. My abstract paintings invite an emotional response rather than passive viewing."G.L.

"I spent a lot of time walking the Puget Sound shores. I often would sit on old sea worn, water logged tree trunks and stumps and dangle my feet between and throughout the many shaped branches of limbs."

"It wasn't until Fall Quarter 1998 that I took interest in crafting driftwood furniture. Driftwood is great to work with because each piece of wood is individually expressive and has its own story. The chair and foot rest are the only two pieces I have completed.

However, I am currently making a sitting stool and designing two twin sized a twin sized bed frame."Ananda
