Read section 13.2 and write a 100 word summary of it.
General Goals for the class:
Section 13.1 is about partial derivatives. As most of have seen from physics, partial derivatives can be thought of as derivatives of functions of several variables with all but one held constant. The book expands on this idea to try to build a more conceptual framework for this idea. It uses the same techniques as it used in chapter 2 of the text.
