Read section 13.4 and write a 100 word summary of it.

General Goals for the class:

Section 13.2 is about finding partial derivatives of functions using the formulas we used during fall and winter quarters. It shouldn't be a problem if you keep in mind that all the variables except one is to be considered a constant.

Section 13.2 is basically about finding the equations of tangent planes and the differential of a function. The differential is a bit mysterious but I think the authors do a pretty good job of explaining it. More on this later.
