HOMEWORK -Homework assignments are due on Thursday of the following week at or before COB (18:00). Please deliver them to my mailbox on the third floor of Lab I.

Some general guidelines

This syllabus could change at any time!!! And expect additional Physics time within the M&M schedule during the quarter.

Homework policy: Specific homework assignments have been generated. The assignments and the due date have been specified above in writing. These assignments must be completed on time in order that you gain the maximum benefit from the class. Late homework is not accepted unless you have been ill or have had a family emergency. In this case, please come and speak with me. If I agree to accept your late homework it will not be corrected but it will be noted that it was received. If the lecture series is lagging behind the schedule, I reserve the right to delay the homework due date. As required by the student-faculty covenant, you will have to attend lecture in order to be made aware of any changes. If changed, homework due dates will never be earlier than originally specified. If for some reason you are not aware of a change in the homework assignment and/or due date, you are responsible for obtaining this information from another member of the physics/calculus modules of Matter and Motion.

Exam dates: Exam dates are subject to change, but it is highly unlikely that these dates will change. Sufficient prior notice will be given.

Quizzes: Quizzes may be administered at any time. Quiz material will cover reading assignments and previous lecture material. Quiz performance will be analyzed and included in your evaluation.

Office hours: My office hours this quarter will be Wednesday from 1:45 to 3:45 PM. Other meetings can be arranged by appointment if necessary.
