Yvonne Peterson
Yvonne is a Chehalis tribal member and an Evergreen faculty member. She holds a BA in Elementary Education and Ethnic Studies and an MA in Political Science. Yvonne is part of an extended family, making baskets with Master Basket Maker Hazel Pete. She has made baskets alongside her mother for and family for years, yet considers herself a student. Yvonne is married to Gary Peterson, and has two daughters. Yvonne is currently taking guitar lessons and would like to reunite with a band she was part of in the '60s called the "Continentals."
