T 1:30-5:00, Lab 2 1241

Student Expenses: $20 for lab supplies

This program is the first of a two program sequence covering general chemistry. It will present an overview of fundamental chemical principles, including atomic theory, chemical reactivity, stoichiometry, the states of matter and thermochemistry (for more information, see syllabus). The course will be geared toward students preparing for subsequent coursework in organic or environmental chemistry and emphasis will be placed on topics particularly relevant to those areas. There will be a laboratory component to the program.
