Listening Assignments in the Library

Keep a ``Listening Journal'' notebook that you give me at the end of the quarter.
Listen to each piece below (either by yourself or with a group) three times over the course of a week.
Do not mow the grass, feed the cat, or wash the dishes while listening to the piece: listen to the piece. (Dancing is the one allowed activity!)
After listening, write one page of text on what you noticed about the piece.
At the end of the quarter, you should turn in about 30 pages of text.
