This program will look into the basics
of why unions are organized and how they work. We will consider
the future of unions in a quickly-changing system of global production
and a equally turbulent political and economic situation. Our class
will take place during a national discussion about the Employee
Free Choice Act, which is being debated in the U.S. Congress. |
