architectural scale

engineering scale

adjustable triangle, 12”

drafting pencils 2H, H, B (lead holder and pointer or mechanical pencil)

soft pencils for sketching 2B, 4B, 6B

circle template

drafting brush

drafting tape. 1/2” or dots

bound sketchbook (min. 5” x 9”)

tracing paper, yellow or white, 12” or 18” wide rolls

Exacto knife (and replacement blades)

Eraser (Magic Rub, Pink Pearl, or kneaded) 

pens (Flair Regular, Flair Hardhead, Pilot Razorpoint, Pilot Precise V, etc.)

100% cotton rag drafting vellum (e.g. Clearprint, Mars, etc.), 24” x 36” sheets

(will be needed later in fall quarter)

model-making materials (will be discussed later in fall quarter.)

scientific calculator (TI-30XIIS, Casio FX-300 or more capable model)
