Reading assignment for week 3 (first meeting of surface-water hydrology): read all of chapter 1. In chapter 2, you can skip the following, if you like: starting on p. 14, first full paragraph that begins, “Repetitious application of Horton’s methodology ….” through top of p. 20. Begin again with section on Drainage Density. Skip the sections on Evidence of Network Evolution and Modes of Evolution (pages 42 through 50).
