IN-CLASS SMALL GROUPS




These are the groups you'll meet with each Tuesday morning from Week 1 through Week 5. In Week 1, your small groups will be working on a case study that will be provided in class concerning how to adjust lessons for students with special needs. In Weeks 2 through 4, your small groups will work together on reviewing assigned chapters and exploring characteristics of particular disabilities and appropriate accommodations. Each of you will be responsible for leading the discussion and exploration for the disability listed beside your name. In Week 5, your small groups will workshop lesson plans that you have revised to accommodate particular special needs.
