This applet starts with an array of randomly generated "mandalas". When you click on your favorite, its genes are "crossed" with several of the others to produce offspring which share some of the same "genes" causing the other Mandala's to begin looking more similar to those you click on. This is a simple application of the genetic algorithm. (Hint: for best results, maximize the window.)
