PLEASE ATTEND!!

Join us for a funny, sad, bawdy and generally unorthodox evening with
award-winning author and essayist, Steve Almond. He'll be reading from his
new book and discussing, among other things: sex, rock and roll, Judaism,
and the importance of reading.

WHERE? The Library Lobby on the campus of The Evergreen State College

WHEN? Saturday, March 10th, 7pm.

WHY? Why not? Admission is free!

Steve Almond has won the prestigeous O.Henry Prize for his short fiction and
is the author of several award-winning books, including The Evil B.B. Chow
and My Life With Heavy Metal. He taught at Boston College until last May,
when he resigned over BC's decision give an honorary degree to Condoleeza
Rice. For more, read his Open Letter of resignation, published in the Boston
Globe.

Steve's come all the way from the east coast, so let's give him a warm
welcome and a big audience. He's assured us that if we welcome him fondly
we can kick him on the way out.
