Winter Quarter

Students will advance their audio production skills in the Com Building 8-Track Studios and the Audio Mixing Benches.

Topics include:

• Mixing with effects
• Computer based multi-track recording with ProTools
• DSP Compression and EQ with Waves Native Power Pack
• Acoustics
• More multi-track recording projects
• Live sound and PA set up

Students will complete reading assignments, keep a journal and complete production/lab assignments. Assignments include recording and mixing projects in the Comm Building 8 -Track Studios.
