Writing your self evaluation

Students sign-on through my.evergreen.edu (using their Evergreen accounts) to gain access for writing their self-evaluations, evaluations of faculty and summative self-evaluation.Once logged in, students can create new evaluations, save them, and return to them for later editing. The evaluations they create will be saved for as long as they are an active student at Evergreen. Finalized versions of evaluations can (and must) be printed or signatures. Students are responsible for submitting their self-evaluations and Summative Self-Evaluations to Registration & Records. Once submitted, they cannot be exchanged or removed from the transcript. New this quarter: When creating a new self-evaluation or evaluation of faculty students will be prompted to pick the program/course/contract and quarter for which they are writing the evaluation. This information comes directly from Banner and will automatically populate in the form. Tips for Students:The online application works best when students:

  • use the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer
  • type directly into it (Students can cut/paste from another application; however, there are some oddities with the text editor and the save option when doing this due to special characters and symbols used in other applications—these issues are being worked on by the technical team).

If students have any problems with the web-based application they can go to the built-in help option in the application, or they can contact the consultants at the Computer Center (L2606), or call them at 360.867.6231.
