Read Bush, Ecology of a Changing Planet, Chapters 1 and 3 (3 hours)

Read Hannah Hinchman, A Trail Through Leaves (10 hours)

Write a commentary on A Trail Through Leaves (1-2 hours)

Reply to at least two commentaries on A Trail Through Leaves  (1-2 hours)

Write a personal essay about your relationship to nature (4 hours)

Complete contour and gesture drawings (2 hours)

Make a series of drawings that express your subjective response to the farm (4 hours)

Study for Lab Quiz (1-2 hours)
