What to do in the meantime? http://www2.evergreen.edu/christianroots/how-to-get-a-copy-of-death-of-nature-what-to-do-in-the-meantime
If you are still waiting for your copy of Death of Nature to arrive, we recommend ordering a copy ASAP from through the Summit system. Books usually arrive in 3 to 5 days. See the library website--go to the Summit link on the library's main page and follow the steps--or ask a librarian for help with this task. Any edition is fine and there are many copies available.

If you are ready to get to work and are still waiting for the book, you should start reading Alfred Crosby's "The Measure of Reality." Students in group B will be writing their essays on this book, so it would be good to get a head start.

http://www2.evergreen.edu/christianroots/how-to-get-a-copy-of-death-of-nature-what-to-do-in-the-meantime#comment Wed, 09 Jan 2008 14:32:18 -0800 francisk 369 at http://www2.evergreen.edu/christianroots ARCHIVE - Fall Quarter Syllabus http://www2.evergreen.edu/christianroots/syllabus
The attachment below contains the syllabus for our program. Sometimes these sources were in agreement on key issues; sometimes they contradicted each other. For this essay, consider how medieval scholars approached and reconciled inconsistencies or contradictions between the diverse sources in their intellectual heritage. You are encouraged to select one specific area of conflict between a secular Greek text (e.g. Aristotle’s Physics) and religious Judeo-Christian texts (e.g. The Bible), and explore the substance, context, and implications of this conflict. What does this conflict suggest about the relation between science and religion during the medieval period?
http://www2.evergreen.edu/christianroots/week-3-paper-topic-group-b#comment Mon, 24 Sep 2007 23:43:53 -0700 francisk 27 at http://www2.evergreen.edu/christianroots ARCHIVE - Secure Readings http://www2.evergreen.edu/christianroots/secure-readings Follow this link to access secure readings for this program: https://evergreen.ares.atlas-sys.com/ares/ http://www2.evergreen.edu/christianroots/secure-readings#comment Mon, 27 Aug 2007 14:50:31 -0700 bowcuttf 14 at http://www2.evergreen.edu/christianroots
