Special event this week: Please try to attend the lecture by James Loewen, author of Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your High School History Textbook Got Wrong, and Sundown Towns. He'll speak in the Longhouse Wednesday, February 13, from 7-9 p.m. His topic: "The Most Important Period of U.S. History That You Never Heard Of, Why You Didn't, and What Difference It Makes."
Here he will cover the "Nadir of Race Relations" and the distorted history and sundown towns that resulted from it, to this day.
