strengths and weaknesses

We have just been getting into the topic of integrals but I am already feeling a little confused. Probably because I am finally feeling comfortable with derivatives and now I have to change to thinking backwards for integrals. I thinking with practice and someone to double check with it will click for me. I also totally don’t understand the last problem about the cannon on the physics test. I know that have done it wrong on both the homework and the exam, and even when I went to the quasar for help the tutors at the time couldn’t figure it out. I’d really like to understand that one. I’m feeling fairly comfortable with derivatives and how they can be used to find key points in graph the last homework assignment really helped me get the hang of that. I’m also feeling good about vectors, I think that as long as I had my notes to refer to I could do a decent job of helping some one through one of these problems.
