Monday night’s “Show and Tell” open mic at the Bowery Poetry Club was hosted by the O’Debra twins. Dressed in mismatching costume/outfits, the O’Debra twins began the show by performing a skit about a new diet plan. It’s a plan where you are supposed to pray instead of eat. Horribly politically incorrect and poorly done, the O’Debra twins sang and danced making the audience laugh out of both hilarity and shame. One part of the performance consisted of the twins pointing at specific people and calling them fat. It must be saying something negative that the overall message one took away from this skit was that Jesus is hot.

            A helpful note: It might be good to drink a few glasses of wine before attending this performance to take the edge off.
