This is my first experience with establishing a relationship with my community through the use of this type of technology. I look forward to establishing relationships that will enhance the social capital of our community.

People throughout the ages have used psychoactive drugs for a variety of reasons. They have been, and are used, for recreation, pain relief, psychological escape or religious expression just to name a few reasons. Only a small percentage of those who have tried drugs go on to develop what are commonly known as substance use disorders, the most common of which is addiction. Drug addiction has been described as “a behavioral pattern of compulsive drug use, characterized by overwhelming involvement with the use of a drug, securing its supply and has a high tendency for relapse after it's withdrawal [abstinence] (Jaffe, 1975). Jaffe, J.H., (1975). Drug addiction and drug abuse. In: Goodman, L.S., Gilman, A. (eds) The pharmacological basis of therapeutics (pp. 284-324), MacMillan, New York.
