Morningside

Mission: Morningside advances the employment and self-sufficiency of people with disabilities

Vision: Morningside envisions a future in which people with disabilities have access to the same opportunities as all other citizens.

Morningside is a private not-for-profit 501-(c)(3) Community Rehabilitation Program providing employment services to individuals with disabilities. We specialize in supported and competitive employment. Morningside’s corporate offices are located in Olympia, Washington. With a staff of more than 150 the corporation serves seven western Washington counties from strategically placed satellite offices.

The corporation is governed by a voluntary Board of Trustees. The Board sets the corporation’s major direction, establishes policies, and is focused on the inclusion of adults with disabilities in the workplace. Comprised of community leaders the Board represents the rich diversity of the region. Morningside, the parent company, includes corporate administrative functions, the Employment Services Division and a limited liability company Creative Employment Solutions. Morningside provides services to over 500 individuals with disabilities in western Washington.

Coastal Business Services Group, a wholly owned subsidiary corporation, provides services to the business community such as document imaging, custodial services, communications, and data processing.

We provide services that assist individuals with disabilities in finding and keeping a job. Morningside also employs and trains persons with disabilities and other barriers to employment in the commercial businesses we operate. Morningside is continually growing, evolving, and expanding geographically. We are also developing and operating new businesses as opportunity, market demands, and resources challenge us to diversify.
