Through researching and studing a selected study of workings and history of the FCC (Federal Communications Commission,) it was my hope to gain and lend a context for television produced in the 50′s and 60′s. It was Newton N. Minow’s speach “The Vast Wasteland” that inspired my research into the FCC, and for that I have named this site from that initial inspiration.
