Staying In NY

As part of this program, you are expected to figure out how to live in NY city for six weeks. As a service to you, I compiled some information to get you started in your search.

The Good news? Food costs in NY, which in many cities make travel expensive, are relatively cheap. You can get a nice nourishing lunch on a street cart for three to four dollars (if you don’t “need” to pay for sugar in a sweet drink other than water). The Bad news? Lodging tends to be expensive. On the other hand, negotiation is very common, and expected, so if you want along-term hotel stay, or sublet, ask for a better rate.

More to come on how to manage living day to day while in “the CIty”
