You will have 2 types of presentations for this course, individual article research reports and a group cognition report.
Individual research report: You will find articles relating to computer technology that interest you. You will either copy or link the text of this report (between 2 and 5 pages) to a word document. You will provide a one page summary and reaction to this article and save the word document as html and upload it to your webspace. You will email me with the link to this file. During class, you will present your article in a 1-2 minute sumary and answer question from the class or instructor related to the article. You will have one or two of these reports as assignments throughout the quarter, but they will also be used to make up points for assignments you missed, or as extra credit for evaluation purposes.
Group Cognition Report. You will work with a group of 2-3 other students to research and present your findings on an area of cognition, perception, psychology, or philosophy related to computer technology. You will be given details of this assignment later in the quarter.
