This enhanced podcast (audio plus images) was created by students in the Visions and Voices academic program at Evergreen. Joe Briggs, Alex marroquin, and Jesse Karp worked together to research the artist and artwork, devised interview questions for the artist, wrote a script and recorded the voice-over narration, and took photographs and found other images to accompany their podcast. They provide a good introduction to a grouping of art works by artist Maria hupfield in the exhibition now in the Evergreen Gallery, called It’s Complicated – Art about Home.

 Sarah, Rebecka, and Hannah worked together to created this podcast that provides an overview of the work in the exhibition by artist Merritt Johnson. They use voice-over narration, images, research, and quotes from the artist to explore the symbolism and meaning in her work.

Jack, Clarissa, and Karlyne created this enhanced podcast introduction to the Olympia-Rafah Solidarity Mural project in downtown Olympia, Washington. They wrote a script for voice-over narration, recorded the audio, combined it with audio images, and edited the whole thing in Garage Band. It provides a good introduction to a complex community project.

This enhanced podcast (audio with still images) was created by students Emma, Zora, and Sam, about a mixed-media artwork by artist Jeffrey Veregge created for the exhibition It’s Complicated – Art about Home, now on display at The Evergreen State College Gallery until week 3 of Winter quarter 2011. The students researched the artist and artwork, contacted the artist, wrote a script for the voice-over narration, selected images to accompany the audio tracks, and edited it all in Garage Band for a class assignment.
