Assignment: Papers and 4 point perspective
1) Make a set of swatches from the papers given to you, plus any additional ones you are interested in working with. Label each with the type of paper it is and test your drawing tools on each one. (30 minutes)
2) Spend about a half hour using newsprint to sketch out 4 point perspective images based on an actual scene. Do two or more sketches to problem solve what parts of the scene to represent and how to approach it. Then choose one of the sheets of paper you’ve been given and make a more finished drawing of the scene in 4 point perspective. Choose which drawing tool(s) you want to do this with, and explore the full range of that tool in the drawing. Keep your drafts of the drawing with the final version. (2.5 hours)
