There will be many occasions to remember and be grateful for the ways she touched our lives -- the opening of the Center for Community-based learning, the week of events in Tacoma honoring Brown V. Board of education. May we all continue to weave with the strands of the webs she sent out in so many directions. From the beginning she has always been a strong spokesperson and supporter of community-based learning. I grieve doubly that she won't see in person the opening and future successes of our new Center for Community-Based Learning and Action in the Seminar II Building, but take heart knowing she will be there through her wondrous spirit.
