Contains opening ceremonies and speakers for first Faculty/Staff retreat held at Pack Forest conference Center. 2 copies on VHS 2/14/97. Speakers include President Charles McCann, Administrative V.P. Joseph Shoben. Ceremonies include the introduction of the College's mascot by Al Wiedemann and a short skit by Malcolm Stilson - "Three Deans", satirizing the coming together of the first Academic Deans and the creation of the Coordinated Studies concept. The Pack Forest Retreat was instrumental in inculcating the alternative nature of the school into the first teaching faculty (Class of 1972). Subsequent tapes in the series deal with the organization of specific college functions such as Student Services, Library, Advising, etc. |
