Totem pole: Owl-Human hand, indiscernible shape-texture (perhaps basket?)-Mythic Beast and or Spirit's face (possibly wolf, bear? Bat like), fierce, menacing with sharp teeth with upturned snout, face carved into round surface: All figures roughly carved; Owl has most detail: Horns, eyes, beak, wings, chest, legs, talons; Appears to be perched on branch or snake, a form between Owl and Human hand.

Sun/head holding baby in papoose or showing baby: Swan has long, curving (wing?), graceful bent back feathers: Duck below is less aesthetic: Bear Cub head appears to be dozing-eyes appear to be closed, body is vaguely suggested but not depicted in any detail, body shape is square with arms folded: Babies in Papooses at top and bottom of totem are have similar features; Bottom figure may be on an altar?: Base has designs on all four sides - various marks of indentation, roughly oblong patterns, etc.

Spectacular Totem : Height measured from tip of wing to base: Mighty Eagle spreads its wings; head thrown back to the sky. Eagles talons grip a Whale's tail; the tail curves back to almost touch the Whale's fin; Whale's mouth is gaping open to swallow a panicked human figure in a canoe; The figure is bent over the front of the canoe intense fear registered on its face. Figure is partially visible inside the mouth of the whale but about to vanish into the mouth: Canoe tip is touching what appears to be a coiled rope or snake? : Flounder on other side - Two Eagle figures partially carved at right and left edges of beveled base.

Totem Pole: Similar to item #10. Baby in Papoose-Cub's head; several lines on Cub's body not found on cub (item #10); Duck head smaller, all figures on Item #16 more roughly carved. Swann's wings curve back farther. Major difference is #16's Sun's hands are clasping baby in papoose. Sun is carved outwards from the wood. Sun's rays lines are cut deeper. Item #16 has no design on base- color solid black.

Totem Pole: Roughly square face with thick lips, large nostrilled nose, small forehead with wide set eyes.-Face above is slightly rounded, wearing expression of sorrow, eyebrows drooped, small eyes, long drooping nose, sunken cheeks, small pursed lips, nose is beak like, hangs over the half of top lip. Two male figures in profile from head to mid chest; Heads slightly bent forward, both faces somber, hair shoulder length. Circular object ?: Chief? Male figure at top of totem with chiseled features, looking stern, even forehead, closed eyes, small nose, jaw set. Braids coming down across neck to upper chest. Zigzag patterns going down, could be robe. Small line indicating fold of blanket/robe. Objects raised up and behind "Chief's" head.

Pouch with leather handles and fringe: Light brown leather fringe in a vague, badge pattern, white beads rim the inner leather fringe, they in turn are surrounded by transparent or opaque beads. Then there is a circle in the middle of the pouch dark blue beads form circular shape. The following colors are within this circular pattern: Red, white, blue, orange, robin egg blue, brown and yellow. Face of 17th century Englishman wearing tri-cornered hat, epaulettes, jacket and ruffled shirt. The name Paul Jones is within the beaded U.S. flag stripes of lower circular pattern. Top half of beads depict stars but with a green bead background. There are only five stars set in green bead background. The stars curve across upper part of circular beaded pattern. The name is beneath the rim of beaded male figure. Tri-cornered hat is composed of blue beads with small yellow beads. Hair is brown beads. Round face comprised of white beads. Eyebrows, eyes, nose and mouth are =(?). Epaulettes are mixture of blue, red, light blue and red, dark red and green beads. Jacket lining is in green beads. Outer jacket is comprised of orange beads. Robin egg blue beads comprise ruffle on shirt front. Expression of male appears to be slight smile, neutral expression. Dark green crushed velvet back of pouch. Buckskin fringe hangs down from edge of beaded pouch-bag.

Bag/pouch: Soft velvet material, black, orange, red (a flower & leaves?) comprises top of bag, two thin black handles on either side. Lower part is comprised of beaded square pattern with green, pink, and orange leaves and flowers. Golden or tan beads line square. Fringe beads same color. Light, sky blue for background. Dark and light green beads create three leaves. Four petalled flowers created using pink and purple-ish beads. Other side of bag/pouch depictions: Tan beige beads with bright red flower in middle and bright yellow center and four leaves extend from four corners of the flower. Leaves are created using dark and light green beads. Blue beads outline five petals.

Totem Pole: Male figure in sitting position, knees bent, arms folded, elbows extended. Appears ot be wearing Aleutioan Hood/cap/parka. Stern facial expression. Above is a fierce struggle with a bear and snake; Bear is gripping snake while snake crawls up between the bear's knees and sinks its fangs into the right side of the bear's neck; Bear is snarling, claws are clutching snake. Bear's ears are pointed straight up touching Whale's upper jaw as it swallows a Sea Lion. The Sea Lion's head is barely clearing the Whale's mouth, its flippers are down across the sides of Whale's lower jaw. Whale's teeth are not visible. The majority of the Sea Lion's body is inside the Whale's mouth. The Sea Lion is wearing an expression of despair, eyes appear to be rolled back in pained resignation? Whale's tail curves over and back touching just below its sharp dorsal fin. Its head is large and bulbous; its tail is clutched in the talons of Eagle/Hawk: Eagle/Hawk is perched upright, head straight; designs/symbols/patterns on wings; Pattern on breast, talons and legs sharply defined: Numerous patterns on the back and lower tail of Eagle/hawk, patterns on wood behind whale, (eye shaped). Two spear point lines moving out from circular image suggesting (eye?). Half moon marks at the Bear's back. Hand holding club with human shape inside. Eye pattern repeated where male figure sits.

Cat: (has initials MH 1963 carved). Ears rounded with no indentation for inside of ears. Cat's eyes: lines for eyes appear closed, slanted downwards. Large nose. Chest is slightly raised and both feet are depicted by straight line to paws. Very round in shape, little detail for tail. Cat's head is bent downward with neck curve longer.

Dear: Ears, hooves, neck, shoulders, mouth, eyes, eyebrows are black. Head square in shape with tiny square ears and a roughly triangular nose, small oblong mouth and small indentations for teeth. Deer's posture suggest that it is leaping; legs are bent, raised up from flat surface depicting Dear's chest, back legs drawn up to chest indicating motion. Black painted circular patterns with one black dot in the middle, neck is like a spread eagled H except for an extra bar across. Hooves are painted not carved.

No sharp carved detail or clearly carved lines detailing tail.

Head crest is ochre; eyebrows black; eyes green, white, and black; Beak green and white for nostrils; Beak shaped as wings; Talons are inverted, round in shape but have different colorings, i.e., Right: three talons Light brown, Left: black with brown. No variation on wings color.

Adze: A salmon in great detail on handle; body markings, fishes shape, head. Gills, fins, and tail all done in detail: remaining tool curved point - aquamarine in color. Fish is brown and yellow - lighter yellow along sides - lighter brown on the belly. Fish rests on upper lip of handle grip with the main part of its head carved outward from the handle grip.

Very sharp and small features of eyes, cheeks, nose, mouth and chin. Head tilted up and back. Chest pushed forward. Native stands upon four sided heads or spirit faces. Each face is flat. Front and back faces are not easily discernable.

Totem Pole: Fish, wolf, whale and eagle. Considerable detail to eagle's body and wings. Eagle is painted white, yellow and black. Eagle's wings are spread up, out and back to sharp point. Eagles talons rest on whale's back fin. Whale is black. Wolf's ears are pointed back, eyes and nose jut forward. Wolf appears to rest upon fish's head. Fish has mouth open and teeth showing. All of totem figures rest on vaguely frog shaped base. One of frog's feet is partially snapped off. Frog is dark greenish blue. It is the same color as the fish head.

Front of jacket has a leaf, flower, heart, horsehead design with colors: blue and green for leaf; orange-ochre and yellow for flower; orange-red orchid for heart; white, gold and blue for horse's head and mane. Leather buckskin fringes on the jacket's front and pockets. Design repeated with greater elaboration on the jacket's back. Additional bead colors of green and yellow for heart. In addition, there are 5 beaded leaves. Buckskin fringe runs along the upper back. Collar materials are worn, frayed; partially loose from the leather.
