Winter 2012 quarter
- Faculty
- Laurance Geri public administration
- Description
-
In this course students will work through the process of researching, developing, and writing a grant proposal. Writing grants is both a formal process of developing and writing a particular type of document (that must be clear, concise, and highly rational) and a challenging form of problem solving that requires innovative thinking, creativity, and the willingness to take risks. This program will explore both of these elements of the grantwriting process and critique the complex relationships between the philanthropic, governmental and nonprofit sectors that form the context of the grantwriting process.
