We'll discuss meanings of "justice," social justice, and criminal justice. We will address questions about how justice is carried out and how it could be served. We will ask questions like: Why is there a disparity in investigation and incarceration between white-collar and blue-collar criminals? Is economic inequality a crime against democracy? Are environmental catastrophes crimes? Who are the criminals? We will research specific cases. And finally, we will explore the tools needed to indict such "criminals."
