Description: This Individual Study offers opportunities for students who are interested in creating their own courses of study and research, including internship and study abroad. Possible areas of study are Japanese studies, cultural studies, literature, art and film. Interested students should first contact the faculty via e-mail (moruzzih@evergreen.edu) before the Academic Fair for spring quarter.

Signature Required: To enroll, students must go through the following process: (1) e-mail a draft of an Individual Learning Contract using the online contract process to Harumi Moruzzi (Moruzzih@evergreen.edu), (2) send Harumi evaluations from at least one Evergreen program, unless they are currently taking Japan Today, then (3) make an appointment to meet with Harumi Moruzzi to discuss the study plan.
