Description

This course provides an introduction to key systems theories, sustainability concepts, and applied processes for implementing systemic changes. Class work will cover and include:

  • General systems theories: defining and mapping systemic structures, flows, and dependencies
  • Key concepts in sustainability and systemic resilience
  • Identifying systemic changes to enhance sustainability
  • Identifying complex interactions, systemic barriers, and leverage points
  • An introduction to anticipating systemic responses
  • Use of planning and process improvement tools
