In line for the first few days of the event, I overheard many comments about the Guild 45th. These comments pertained to its distance (separation) from the Harvard and the Egyptian. The festival goers were talking (it seems, through my interpretive ear,) about the Guild in terms of the Other. With the event being defined as actually here between the poles of the Harvard and the Egyptian and not actually at the Guild 45th. In its non inclusion the Guild becomes even more important to the festival as it defines the locality of the physical space of the event.
