Program Overview

Urban Ecology was an interdisciplinary program offered by The Evergreen State College for the 1996-1997 academic year. The program consisted of lectures, workshops, readings, seminars, and field trips regarding the ecology and design of the urban environment. During the third quarter of study, students worked independently and in groups on chosen projects. These projects ranged from community gardens to water quality studies to environmental education. Students and faculty can be individually reached concerning their projects (see "Who We Are") or other general information.
