Read section 1.3 of the text and do problems:

5, 7, 8,10

For section 2.2 do the following problems:

10, 15, 17

Read section 2.3 of the text and do the following

1. Write a 100 word summary of the section
2. Do the following problems: 1,3,5,7,9,16

Class outline:

1. Homework groups, review homework for this class.
2. Answer questions
3. Work in homework groups to do problems 4, 6 of section 2.1
4. Go over general problems from the first homework set
5. Give a general overview of Mathcad
6. Revisit Visual Basic Programs we saw the first day.
