that chapter 1 is a review chapter so that 100 word summaries are not required for its sections.

Read section 1.6 of the text and do problems:

4,5,6,11,24

Section 2.5 Do: 5,10,20

Read section 2.6 of the text and do the following

a.Write a 100-200 word summary of the section

b.Do the following problems: 1,3,5

Activities planned for class 6

1. Get into homework groups and discuss homework problems (40 min)
2. Have a general class discussion of the homework problems. (20 min)
3. In your homework groups do problems 8 and 9 of section 2.5 (20 min)
4. A general class discussion of old and new material (As time permits)
