Read section 1.8 of the text and do problems:

Section 2.7 Do the following problems 1, 3, 6, 8, 10

Read section 2.8 of the text and do the following

• Write a 100-200 word summary of the section
• Do problems 1,2,3

Activities planned for class 8

1. Don will talk about dot products - (approx 45 min)
2. A brief lecture over section 2.7 (approx 15 min)
3. Get into homework groups and discuss homework problems (approx 40 min)
4. Have a general class discussion of the homework problems. (approx 20 min)
5. In your homework groups do problem 2 of section 2.7 (approx 20 min)
6. A general class discussion of old and new material (As time permits)
