To prepare for each Astronomy
class meeting :
- Read the material on the
syllabus for that day.
- Write a concise summary
of your reading, according to the Learning
Through Discussion guidelines.
- Write up a thoughtful treatment
of the assigned Discussion Questions.
- Start your homework (including
observations) as soon as it is assigned, so you have time to discuss
it with classmates, write up your finished work nicely, and
hand it in on time.
- Make copies of the material
you're turning in, so you can keep working on it .
- Arrive prepared and on time.
