technique in Universal Traveler that you do not use. Explain why
or why not it might be a useful addition to your repetoire of
problem solving techniques.
Tuesday, November 18
OOP reading:
Read Chapter 6 of the VisualWorks Tutorial. (You will work on this in lab.)
Read carefully the
8 Queens Problem Assignment (due Tuesday of Week 9).
Be sure you have read Chapters on debugging - 21,22,23.
OOP assignment:
OOP Lab:
Chapter 6 of the VisualWorks Tutorial.
Case Study document:
Read the Chapter from Software Rx on Code Reviews.
Case Study reading:
Bring a piece of
debugged Smalltalk code and be prepared to participate in a code review on
Tuesday.
Thursday, November 20
OOP reading:
Read Chapters 27, 28. 29.
OOP assignment:
Be sure to have your Case Study GUI and your domain model finished.
OOP Lab:
In Lab, finish the VisualWorks Tutorial, and start on Case Study.
