At last week's class, you should have:

Received web authoring and email accounts (if you did not already have
these),

Filled out and turned in Account Requests for any new accounts,

Used Netscape Composer (or Word) to create simple HTML file(s),
-
Created a home page and a class info page (with your previous computing
experience, learning objectives for this class and ideas for a project.).
You should have for this class:

floppy disk (for your scanned image)
-
image to scan
-
draft project proposal (hard copy to hand in by 9pm)
-
read (and done exercises) for Chapters 1-4 in htmlbook.
Objectives for today's class are:
-
Reivew Class 1 Activites,
-
Learn some new HTML (images, tiling, image mapping, backgrounds),
-
Learn how to scan (and scan) an image using photoshop,
-
Insert and manipulate your image in your web page,
-
Experience a Photoshop Demo.

ÝGreen. some familiarity (need to scan?)

ÝBlack. considerable familiarity; don't need or want to scan....
