From the Start Button, select Programs/Windows NT Explorer "OR" right click on My Computer and select Explorer
Select View/ Toolbar if toolbar is not showing
Window is devided into two frames: left and right with middle bar allowing size changes. Left window is broader view of computer, Right window is used for information about files

Look inside a folder (double-click the folder name)
Create a new folder (File/ New/ Folder)
Moving Files
Locate the file you wish to move
Drag and drop it into the destination folder
Saving a File to a Floppy
Same as moving a file
Destination is 3 1/2 Floppy (A:)
Renaming a File or Folder
Using the Right mouse button, click on the file or folder to rename
Select Rename using the Left mouse button
Type the new name and press Enter
Find a Lost File
Select Tools/ Find/ Files or Folders
Compare Two Versions of the Same File
Once Details has been chosen from the View menu, compare sizes, dates, etc.
Deleting a File
With the Right mouse button, click on the file or folder to delete
Select Delete with the Left mouse button
Make a Network Connection
Click on the Map Network Drive button on the toolbar
Select a drive letter
Double click on the name of the machine from the list to connect to
Select the share name (this will show in the path)
Click OK
Create a Shortcut
Why?
Double click on Network Neighborhood
Click on Server
Right Click and select create shortcut
Move Shortcut to desktop
