summer 2002

Instructor: David McAvity

In this program, we will explore our understanding of the physical universe by examining the fundamental concepts of physics and their historical development. Topics in this session include motion, energy, waves, and nuclear physics. There will be lectures, workshops and laboratory investigations. Students will develop problem-solving skills, deepen their conceptual understanding of physical phenomena, and gain valuable hands-on experience. This program will provide a good foundation for those wishing to pursue careers in medicine, engineering or the sciences.
