Community Garden Tenders Fall 2003
This quarter we became acquainted with the space with which we were working. The Community Garden was almost finished producing food by the time the quarter started, so our main job was to put the garden “to sleep.” This included weeding the herb beds neglected over the summer, planting crimson clover as a cover crop, harvesting the last of the potatoes, and organizing the greenhouse. We also managed to help several other people with their projects in the demonstration garden. Overall, it was a rewarding experience.
